Dear Baby –
Well, we are completing month 8 of our wait to meet you! The month of March was actually pretty packed with some fun items on the calendar, so I was glad to stay busy!
I got myself a new pair of glasses this month – I hadn’t purchased a new pair in 8 years, so I was very overdue for some specs! I even went a little crazier than I normally would and picked up a style that was very different from what I have picked out in the past. I absolutely love them, and I have been getting a ton of compliments on them when I wear them out and about. I suppose I made the right choice!
Your father and I have always loved Cirque du Soleil shows, and have seen quite a few over time! It just so happens that Volta was in town this month, and we got some amazing seats to see the show! I always end up leaving a Cirque du Soleil show wanting to learn how to do something new…perhaps the trapeze? Haha, maybe not this time.
One other thing we started this month: discussions on taking a trip. I’ve been in my head a lot and I think it might be good for your dad and I to take a couple of days off to get out of town and just relax and unwind. I know we did that about 6 months ago, but it seems like it might be a good time some time in the next month or two if we are still walking in the wait. We will see though!
As for situations this month, we had 3 new opportunities come through for us to have our profile presented. We did hear back from 2 that were no-gos – one was a situation from February and the other was from this month. Again, we still have a few situations that we haven’t heard back on, so you never know! Tick tock goes the clock…
