A flowy maxi skirt by Laundry

There is something so wonderfully girly about a flowy skirt. When I met the one I’m wearing today, I fell in love. Not only was it patterned and in beautiful colors, but the way it moved made my heart skip a few beats.

This skirt is another great example of how you are able to score designer clothes at stores like T.J. Maxx. This skirt is Laundry by Shelli Segal, and it would normally retail for over $200. Yeesh. You know I wouldn’t be buying that for full price! But, when I found it on the rack at T.J. Maxx, all I had to spend was $50! Yes, that price point is a little bit higher than some of the other items I tend to buy at that store, but for this particular brand and quality, I did not hesitate to invest.

I love the pattern, and the chiffon skirt is so flowy. And it is pleated! Normally, the pleats wouldn’t be a selling point, but with the chiffon skirt they give it SO much movement (and there is a lot of material involved)! I just want to swish and twirl around in it…

See? I told you!

Black tee: Forever 21 (similar here) // Printed maxi skirt: Laundry by Shelli Segal, purchased at T.J. Maxx (get the skirt in a different pattern now for $55.25 at Last Call!) // Studded handbag: purchased at T.J. Do you enjoy a skirt/dress that flows, or you prefer the straight look of a pencil skirt?
