When I showed you my high-low chevron dress on Tuesday, I mentioned that the trend was somewhat new to me. And then I realized: I actually have TWO items in my wardrobe that embrace the high-low trend. My other item? A tank top!
I was drawn to this particular tank not because of the cut, but because of the color and pattern. It is a burnt orange/rust color with a fun starburst print. I couldn’t resist adding that pop of color into my wardrobe (plus, it’s from T.J. Maxx, so you know I got a good deal on it).
One advantage to the high-low hemline on a shirt? Depending on the cut, they can make wearing leggings with them an option! Thankfully, this tank top drops down enough in the front, and the dropped hem in the back fully covers my backside. I paired the outfit with my new wedges I scored from Marshalls (I’m obsessed…I’m wearing them a few times a week now), and a fun clutch, and I was good to go for a casual dinner!
Tank top: T.J. Maxx, Camisole: Converse One Star via Target, Leggings: Marshalls, Wedges: Jessica Simpson collection via Marshalls, Clutch: Adrienne Vittadini

Thanks my dear! Thankfully I have started to get a bit of color on my skin – when I’m pale, red and I don’t get along! Yay for beach weather here!
