I know, I know…it’s officially fall now, but the heat is still up down here in Florida (wow, did that sound confusing or what?)! I’ll be donning some sweaters during my upcoming trip to the Midwest, but in the meantime I’m getting as much wear time in my shorts as possible!
Not only have I gotten quite a bit of wear out of my floral shorts this summer, but my chambray shirt has also become a wardrobe staple. Seriously, get yourself one if you don’t already own a chambray shirt!
I know I’m going to miss these warm days once the fall and winter chill does eventually come to Florida, but every once in a while I do long to throw on a few layers without sweating profusely!
Chambray shirt: purchased at Target (similar) // Gray cotton tank: Ann Taylor LOFT // Floral shorts: Thakoon for Target (previous season, similar here) // Jessica Simpson Getaway Tote: purchased at T.J. Maxx (also at Zappos) // Sunglasses: Ray Ban New Wayfarer // Leather capri sandals: J. Crew // Rhinestone pyramid stretch bracelet: Forever 21 // Pyramid stud bracelet: Forever 21
So tell me: has the fall chill arrived in your neck of the woods, or is the summer still sticking around for a bit longer?
Those shorts are super cute. I would have never known they were last season (or Target!). They remind me a lot of the Banana Republic Trina Turk line.
Adore these shorts! And I’d be wearing them for as long as possible if I were you 🙂
Denver is up and down as well. We have temps in the 80’s one day and then high 60’s the next. Fall usually rolls in soon and then I’ll be missing the heat 🙂

I think we’ll be dealing with high temps for a while longer! LOVE your bag!
I agree that chambray shirt is a must! I’ve come up with so many versatile ways to where mine. Love the floral shorts. I’m not ready to say good-bye to summer either and luckily in Florida we get to stretch it out a little longer 😉
