Have you started your holiday shopping yet? I’m really hit and miss when it comes to preparing in advance for holiday gift giving. I like to find the perfect gift that speaks to me about the person it is intended for. So, sometimes I find an item all the way back in September…and sometimes it takes until the week before Christmas.
One place I know I can always turn to for my holiday shopping is Marshalls. I am sure most of you don’t find this to be a surprise, as Marshalls, TJ Maxx, and Home Goods pretty much dominate my home decor, my wardrobe, and my life in general. Marshalls is also (surprise surprise!) one of my all time favorite locations to search for holiday gifts. I can discover brand name, awesome gifts at prices lower than retail. Who wouldn’t be on board with that???
If you’re looking for some gifts for girly girls, look no further. I have been astounded at the amount of beauty and fragrance options available at Marshalls. Essie and OPI polishes abound, and they are the perfect stocking stuffer. This pretty polish (The One That Got Away) was in a 2-pack set…for $8. That’s getting one polish for free if you’re going by the average retail price for the brand. Heck yes!
And don’t get me started on fragrances. I am a perfume junkie…but I have rarely shelled out the big bucks in a department store for designer fragrance. Not when I can keep my eyes peeled for my favorites at Marshalls! I recently discovered a bottle of Coach Poppy on my local store’s shelves…at $25 less than the current retail price. How do you say no to that? Fragrances are always one of my favorite go-to gifts for gals. You can find single bottles as well as gift sets at Marshalls. I always keep notes on my iPhone about favorite fragrances when I’m in a department store. I sample them there, then keep my eyes open for them on the shelves at Marshalls. I’ve made quite a few amazing finds over the years. In addition to the Coach Poppy I recently discovered, I’ve also scored Vera Wang (a huge gift set for the price of the eau de parfum in store), kate spade Twirl, and more. Happy holiday hunting, everyone!
Do you like shopping at Marshalls (and Home Goods and TJ Maxx) for your holiday gift giving?
I LOVE those three stores as well!
I love TJMaxx! The one by my parents house in Venice FL I believe is the best one for high end digs!
It always amazes me when you find some truly luxe items at the stores! Score!
Yep, Marshalls is definitely a great place for presents! I am definitely heading there for my brothers gift (I have him for our family secret santa) and already bought my friends presents
I am pretty sure 90% of the gifts I give at the holidays are from one of the 3 stores!
I cannot spew off enough good things about these stores. I ALWAYS find something for my brother and sister-in-law at either TJ Maxx or Home Goods because they seem to carry a lot of coastal home decor items. I like Marshall’s, but I tend to stray more towards Ross Dress for Less when it comes to clothing or accessories. I bought a friend some Lady Gaga Fame perfume at Ross for, get this, NINE BUCKS. I almost passed out.
