Oh this dress. This dress this dress this dress.
This amazing dress by Muse was a fabulous find from Marshalls for Project FAB (if you’re a super fan of the store like me, you can apply now through July 22nd to be a part of it too). I’m sure the source of this dress doesn’t come as a surprise to any of you, since Marshalls is pretty much one of my all time favorite stores to shop in. You can typically find me there once a week perusing for new goodies in stock! Anyway, the tribal print in such bold and bright colors paired with the awesome cut of the frock was literally begging me to throw it on for a date night out.
Apparently I am not the only one who was fond of this dress, because I spotted it on Hoda last week Thursday on Good Morning America! I can see why: the neckline really shows off your shoulders and the V shapes create a tiny waistline. It’s a really flattering cut. Plus, there is a hint of Spandex in the material, giving it just a bit of stretch for comfort.
I decided to pair this frock with an animal print heel since it was a fun evening out, but I could definitely imagine going more classic by wearing this dress in an office setting with a pair of black pumps instead.
And I know I’ve already gushed over elephant themed jewelry, but I’ve now added a new item to my collection: these elephant stud earrings by ShopBevel. I’m a big fan of stud earrings, and these are large enough to make a statement, but are still subtle. Fun, right?
Have you found something fabulous at your Marshalls store recently? What was it?
Tribal print dress: c/o Marshalls // Animal print heels: Ivanka Trump Pinkish, purchased at Nordstrom (same shoe, but in solid colors via Zappos) // Envelope clutch: ASOS (previous season, current version here) // Elephant stud earrings: sponsored c/o BrandBacker and Shopbevel (use code BBSTUDS for 25% off your purchase)
This dress is so gorgeous on you! I love the print and how you paired it with animal print!
Thanks! I admit, I am a little hooked on pattern mixing in general, but I also kind of noticed that many of my shoes in my closet happen to be print. Aside from a pair of pointed black pumps (that I wore for work settings), I don’t even have a pair of black heels anymore! I think I’m missing some of the basics in my wardrobe at times…
So cute! I love Marshalls too!
Between Marshalls, Home Goods, and TJ Maxx, I’m a goner. I always find something good!
That dress looks like it was made for you!
You know, I kind of felt that way when I first zipped it up! It isn’t every day that the fit is perfect on an off the rack piece, you know?
Thank you so much for stopping by my little corner of the blogging world. This dress is perfect on you! I have such a hard time at Marshalls – they are just too big and overwhelming for me.

I can definitely understand that feeling. I think you have to be in the right mindset to visit those stores…I never go in there looking for something in particular, because I know I won’t find it. But when I am in the mood to browse, it’s dangerous! 😉
You know how much already I love that dress. I cannot wait to hear more about your adventures with Marshalls Project Fab!
Love your dress and clutch!
