I honestly don’t know if I should be admitting half of what I do in this vlog.
I’m talking about 8th grade…middle school…aka one of the most traumatizing times in a person’s life.
I won’t ramble on: I’ll let the video speak for itself. But it does include the following: jorts, N*SYNC, and Irish Step Dancing. I’m embarrassed already.
So tell me: how awkward were YOU in 8th grade? Any stories to share? Please tell me I’m not alone!

I havent watched yet (Im at work) but I did Irish step dancing in 8th grade too! Actually 7th-10th grade – you dont hear of others that did it too often!

I think we were ALL some form of awkward in 8th grade.. I actually put pictures in my vlog for this week (don’t know why I did that.. it’s terrible) for everyone to laugh at. My fashion and huge glasses? So embarrassing now!
I was also in our musical, but they cast me as one of the dancers.. Guys and Dolls, I think it was! Ohh, the memories 😉

I have to say that I actually loved Britney way back then.. I saw her in concert on her 2nd tour (I think) and despite the fact that the girl couldn’t/can’t sing worth crap, she does put on a good show. Ohh Britney. She sure showed all of us up, lol.

Can’t watch it yet because R is watching SVU in the next room. The perils of a small apartment! But rest assured, I will watch it. The 90s make me so nostalgic! This generation just doesn’t know what they missed…
You are really good at being on camera! And I had huge, round, ugly BLUE glasses before I got contacts. Simply awful.

Oh my goodness, I laughed so hard when you described your outfit! In my 6th grade picture I am wearing blue airwalk shoes with high white socks, green khaki shorts, a white v neck undershirt with a pink sweater vest!
We could’ve been super stylish together!
Oh my, I wore the same white socks…pulled up mid-calf! Sometimes mine even had ruffles on them, but I think I was over that by 8th grade.
Is it totally pathetic that I’m very jealous that you got to see the *NSYNC/Britney concert? I haven’t quite gotten over that obsession yet! 😉
