I probably should win the award for worst daughter ever. Yesterday, my parents celebrated their wedding anniversary. I knew the day was coming up, and I thought I was prepared. You see, on Mother’s Day I took some really nice photos of the two of them, and I planned on revealing the pictures for their anniversary. I had this post scheduled to go up…but on the wrong day. Fail. So, I’m a day late. Sorry mom and dad!
I don’t want to write a novel here; I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves. My parents are awesome. They’ve set a great example for their children; hopefully Justin and I are able to live up to it as the years go by.
They are good company, they are fun to be around, and they always seem to have the right answer when I have a question. Don’t you love that about parents? I hope my future children aren’t expecting me to have all the answers…I might have to refer them to their grandparents instead…
So, happy anniversary Mom and Dad! We hope you had a wonderful evening of celebration: love you!
Wonderful photos! Happy anniversary to your parents!
ADORBS! I love celebrating my parent’s anniversary. Congrats to your parents.
ps. you are a spitting image of your Momma. Love it!
I really am, aren’t I? We get that alllll the time! “Are you guys….sisters?” 😉
So sweet! The one of them looking at each other is my fave.
Beautiful photos, and such a wonderful gift to give them! Happy anniversary to them!
You look SO much like your mom! Cute pictures, and happy anniversary to them!
I definitely agree – and my mom looks so much like my grandma! It’s crazy. And then my little brother….doesn’t look like me at all (fair skin, curly hair…like my dad)
Thanks Katie! We love being your parents because you are such a wonderful daughter. Love you.
Happy anniversary to your parents! (And what a sweet present-slash-blog post!) I too, love the example my parents set for me and my sister and am truly happy and proud to call them “mom” and “dad.” 🙂
Aww, Happy Anniversary to your parents! Your Mom was so fun to meet at BlogHer Food, I can only imagine your Dad is just as fun too.
