Studio Gear Holiday Smokey Eye Palette

Who doesn’t like an item that is all in one? I have to admit: I don’t have a large number of makeup palettes in my beauty arsenal, but I’m beginning to wonder why that isn’t the case. Palettes are a great option to ensure all of your color options are perfectly coordinated.

I don’t wear eye shadow all that often nowadays, but when I do my go-to look is almost always a smokey eye. I was lucky enough to be able to try the new Studio Gear Holiday Smokey Eye Palette, and it was right up my alley!

The palette contains shimmery and dramatic shades of eye shadow, along with a complementary blush shade for your cheeks. I loved that the inside lid of the palette contains an illustrated set of instructions to show exactly how to and where to apply each color in the palette. It’s basically fool proof, which is great for me! The ability to take this look from day to night is also a welcome option. I would be tempted to apply most of the smokey eye (minus the darkest color) for the daytime hours, and then blend the dark color into the crease of my eyelid to take it to night-time chic. The palette itself is slim and would easily fit inside your handbag if you need to bring it along to make that transition after work is over.
