Beauty Find: Radha Argan Oil

Radha Argan Oil

Chances are you’ve heard about argan oil over the past year or so. I know it has been popping up in beauty products everywhere, and with good reason. It is a plant oil produced from the kernels of the argan tree, which grows in Morocco. It has become popular in beauty products because it is moisturizing and nourishing.

The fact that you can use argan oil for more than one beauty situation is definitely one of the reasons I enjoy it. I was lucky enough to receive a sample of Radha’s cold pressed Argan Oil to try out for myself, and I’ve been quite happy so far!

So – what do you use argan oil for? First, you can use it as a hair treatment. Some people like to smooth a few drops of oil on their hair before drying it, but if you have fine or thin hair like I do, I suggest using it as a pre-wash treatment only, since it would weigh my hair down too much. But it goes beyond use on your hair. Have you thought about using it as a cuticle treatment? I have been experiencing dry cuticles recently…which leads to hangnails…and I am never a fan of that. I’ve been in the habit of dabbing a few drops of Radha Argan Oil on my cuticles before my at-home manicures and pedicures each week, and it really does the trick!

I really like the dropper style applicator that came with the Radha Argan Oil as well. I am notorious for pouring out too much product when the spout is large, but the dropper allows me to get just the right amount. Whew! It’s the little things that count, my friends. One other note: the argan oil is unscented, which is a great feature. Sometimes you just want things to be subtle!

Radha Argan Oil and Coconut Oil

I also picked up a bottle of Rahda’s Fractionated Coconut Oil. I am a regular user of coconut oil in my cooking, have used it in homemade sugar scrubs, and have been hearing about all of the other fabulous beauty uses for it. I love that you can use it as-is as a moisturizer, or even add a few drops of other essential oils to it to create a fantastic scent. A few drops in the bathtub…heavenly! If you want to purchase some of Radha’s products yourself, you can find them on Amazon!

Do you use argan oil or coconut oil in your beauty routine? What are your favorite ways to utilize it?

***I was provided with a sample of Radha Argan Oil and Coconut Oil for review, but opinions are my own.***
