It’s undeniable: beach and pool season is almost upon us! Well, if you live in Florida like I do, it IS already here. The temperatures are already in the 80s and creeping toward 90 each and every day.
I have to admit – I used to think that one piece bathing suits were for “older individuals,” if you will. I dreaded the day I’d be shopping for one. Perhaps there has been a change in me, or perhaps it is just because the makers of bathing suits have realized their potential…but I have been absolutely amazed with the adorable one piece options available! They can be cute, they can be flattering, and they can even be sexy (plunging necklines, anyone?). I actually find myself liking them more than the bikini options I see. From floral, to graphic prints, to polka dots, to solids…there are so many to choose from. I don’t know if I can pick one favorite from the bunch…perhaps #2 or #20. Which would you choose?

I really like that one too! The ruffles on the neckline and the belted waist. So fun!
Four and twenty are my favorites. I also really like the ones with peplum. So many cute options! I might just have to get a one piece this season!
I actually have #20 in my shopping cart currently…I am allllmost ready to pull the trigger!
LOVING #1(from urban, of course I <3 it) and #21. Best of both worlds…one is super dainty with the peplum and floral print while the other is sooo sexy. I am really into the cut-out, edgier one pieces..Urban Outfitters has an awesome collection of those this year. I just worry about the tan lines…and like you, afraid I may look silly for wearing a suit that has forever been deemed "mom-ish" or mature. Might have to bite the bullet this season though 🙂
I definitely wonder about the tan lines too – I fear the pale white stomach!!!
