Are you familiar with the site I Wear Your Shirt? It is pretty darn neat, if you ask me…think of them as a social media advertising agency. The folks at IWYS wear a different shirt each day and talk about the brand, person, or organization sponsored on the shirt. They stream videos, tweet, take photos, and just create buzz/conversations in general about their sponsors. Cool, right?
Today, they are doing something new: group shirting! When I heard they were asking for volunteers to participate, I was excited to join in on the fun!
Today they are promoting J.Dash and his song WOP (which stands for “With Out Prejudice”). Take a moment to watch the music video, and if you’re interested, you can buy the album via iTunes! Also – J.Dash is on Twitter and Facebook: check those accounts out as well!
And on that note, happy Friday! Did any of you head out to the midnight showing of The Hunger Games? If you did, color me extremely jealous. I’m heading to a 9:30 am show on Saturday morning – waiting until then is going to be excruciating!!!
LOVE this idea & love JDASH – how cool you got to volunteer with this! Love the acronymic for WOP, too. Didn’t know that until now. What appropriate timing with all the sadness/drama w/ Trayvon from Sanford. Have a fab weekend chica! XO
what a neat idea for getting the word out about something!!
Love the outfit! And yes, I did make a midnight showing of Hunger Games! Hope you loved it!
Such a fun organization. Love you look! I went to the movie yesterday afternoon. I would have went sooner but I had a guest visiting that I didn’t want to take them to the movie. Hope you enjoyed it!
Great idea. Easy and fun way to get involved.
