These pea pesto crostini are easy to make, fresh in flavor and color, and are a fantastic finger food for your next get-together!

Ingredients
16 ounces fresh or frozen peas (thawed)
2 cloves garlic
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon Kosher salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
⅓ cup olive oil, plus additional for brushing on bread
2 tablespoons fresh basil
Shaved Parmesan cheese

Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
Add peas, garlic, grated Parmesan, salt, pepper, and basil to a food processor. Pulse until combined - about 10 pulses.
Turn the processor on medium speed and slowly drizzle in the olive oil - about 1 minute. Transfer finished pesto to a bowl and set aside.
Slice baguette into rounds about ½ inch thick. Place evenly on a baking sheet and brush lightly with olive oil. Bake for 7-8 minutes until golden brown.
Scoop about 1-2 teaspoons of pea pesto on to each baguette slice and top with shaved Parmesan. Serve, and enjoy!
