Pink, blue, and a chevron foldover clutch

Pink and blue: it is such a classic color combination! I couldn’t resist putting together an outfit featuring both of these hues. A pop of purple doesn’t hurt either, in my humble opinion.

I picked up a pair of The Diva skinny ankle pants from Old Navy a few weeks back, and I’m quite liking them! The material is stretchy but thick, and the cut is a great ankle length. I have to roll mine up one time to make them hit at the right spot, so if you’re taller than 5’3″ they’d probably be perfect as-is. They only ring in at $25-$34 depending on the color/pattern, so they’re definitely an affordable option.

Sew Sarah R clutch

I am oh so smitten with this foldover clutch made by Sew Sarah R. She was kind enough to send along one of her bags for me to try out, and I know it will become a regular in my rotation! Sarah is based in New Hampshire and she creates custom clutches in an array of patterns and colors. They would make a great gift (think: bridesmaids, birthdays, etc.), or are simply a fantastic touch for your own wardrobe. I was immediately drawn to this graphic chevron print – isn’t it fun?

The foldover style for Sew Sarah R.’s clutches is a new one to her line, and I have to say I’m a fan. The pouch itself is zippered, and it easily folds over to a size easy to carry under your arm or in your hands. On a side note: the pouch is large enough to fit an iPad inside, so you could use it as a stylish way to tote your tablet (although with an iPad you cannot fold over the clutch)!

What is your favorite color combination to wear?
