Who says you can’t be comfortable and look nice at the same time?
I’m a big fan of that sentiment, especially in the past few weeks. Leggings have been my favorite wardrobe item to wear (heck…they pretty much have always been, who am I kidding?), and pairing them with pretty tops to dress them up has been the name of the game for me.
Printed tunic: Target // Leggings: purchased at T.J. Maxx (similar here) // Dalmatian print heels: ZARA (similar here) // Filigree pendant necklace: c/o Ann Taylor (similar here) // Handbag: Ditsy hobo by Urban Expressions (similar here)
This tab neck tunic had my name written all over it. I spotted it at Target recently and absolutely had to have it! The tunic comes in a variety of colors and patterns. I actually picked up two of them…the one pictured, as well as a solid burgundy tunic. The semi sheer material is flowy and not heavy at all: it is great not only for Florida, but as a transition piece between seasons. I’ll wear it in the fall, winter, and spring!
Tunics and leggings together are so comfortable, am I right?
I paired them with a set of spotted heels here for a dinner date with Justin, but I’ve sported the same look with a pair of flats for more of a casual day attire. You could belt the tunic if you felt so inclined: it would add definition at the waist. Ah, versatility – don’t you love that?
Are you a fan of pairing tunics with leggings?
Adore that printed tunic! I rarely wear pants (mostly dresses) but when I do it’s always leggings + a tunic. Will definitely be checking that one out – what a fab find!
I am just like you with that sentiment! Leggings…or dresses! I did get into wearing shorts over the summer…kind of nice for a change! But mostly I end up gravitating toward dresses because they are a full outfit without having to mix and match top and bottom. So easy!
Did you just wear a tank under the tunic? I saw those at Target and loved the fit of them but didn’t know how it’d look with a tank + leggings?? Thanks!
Sorry for the delayed response, Kristy! Yes – I just wear a camisole/tank under the tunic – it works out well!
I love that tunic! I wonder if my Target has one similiar…. 🙂
