You better believe I’m getting my walking shoes ready this week: BlogHer Food 2014 is approaching rapidly! I’m excited to attend again, as it has been a few years since I was able to make it happen.
Here’s the thing about conferences: you want to look cute, but you also need to consider comfort. Conference halls can involve a lot of walking, so a comfortable pair of shoes are key. I’m seriously thinking about wearing these Skyscapes for my time in the conference halls: they’ve been so comfortable to wear so far!
Another important consideration? Layers. Why is it that conference halls are ALWAYS so cold it feels like you’re in the middle of a walk in freezer? Jeans might do the trick for me during the daytime at this conference for the main reason that I don’t want my legs to get cold! I like to pair a tank and sweater on top so I have the option of removing or adding a layer depending on the temperatures. Being comfortable during the day is the name of the game; I like to switch it up to something a little more fun for dinner/the evening!
