Cremaschi Vineyards Sauvignon Blanc: wine that won’t break the bank

It’s Friday once again: time to enjoy a little bit of vino as we head out into the long Memorial Day weekend!

Cremaschi Vineyards Sauvignon Blanc

The most recent bottle of wine we’ve enjoyed in our home is a 2012 Sauvignon Blanc by Cremaschi Vineyards. Surprise surprise – it’s another wine from South America – Chile, to be exact! Boy oh boy, I’m really on a roll with these, wouldn’t you say?

This crisp and slightly sweet Sauvignon Blanc was extremely refreshing on a warm evening. I paired it with a large, fresh Greek salad, topped with crumbled feta cheese, fresh tomatoes, cucumbers, green peppers, beets, and grilled chicken breast. And a side of pita bread and hummus as well…yum!

As for price – this bottle can be found in Florida at The Fresh Market grocery stores, and it retails for about $12.

What will you be sipping on this Memorial Day weekend?
