A trip to the market

Ok, so I know at times I’ve been sad over the fact that we had pretty much zero winter weather this season in Florida. Many days it has been around 80 degrees. Don’t get me wrong: I love the warm weather! I’ve just been a bit sad that the new coat I purchased back in October got only ONE use. Maybe later this year, perhaps?

Anyway, the weather lately has been amazing: mid to high 70s. It is warm enough to not wear layers, but cool enough to be comfortable in pants and long sleeves. The humidity has not arrived yet (that happens in summer….eek), so taking time to walk around outside has been glorious.

Dunedin Market

Justin and I recently took a trip to Dunedin’s weekend green market. It is adorable – vendors set up under white tents selling their goods. There is produce, cheese, and fresh baked bread. There are plants for sale…Justin and I are dying to get some citrus trees for our backyard. I still can’t decide which variety I want most: blood oranges? Limes? Meyer Lemons? Grapefruit? Someone help me decide…

Honestly, I am a huge fan of the current temperature: it is perfect weather to throw on a pair of leggings and a belted tunic to walk around town in (I snagged this rope belt on clearance at Old Navy – I keep trying to find excuses to wear it!). The sun has been shining a lot lately, and things are just looking beautiful around these parts. I really can’t complain. I’m going to try to soak up all of these wonderful days before the humidity kicks in as much as possible (hopefully that won’t be until May…)!
