Our Wedding

Lovely Tonight: On the Water

One of the great things about having a wedding in Clearwater is the fact that, on a good day, you can take advantage of photo opportunities by the water! During the cocktail hour, Justin and I posed for a few shots to take advantage of the gorgeous weather we were having!

Our second photographer, Chip, escorted Justin and me onto one of the boat slips for a few more shots with some fluffy white clouds in the background. Seriously…how BLUE was the sky that day?!?! I was such a lucky girl.

And talk about dedication – Chip was literally laying on his back on the boat dock to capture these shots! Our guests decided it was a scene worthy of photo documentation…

Our guests also snapped some personal photos

with the beautiful water behind them!

Cutest…kids…ever!

(but I’m biased since they happen to be our niece and nephew)

The next thing we knew, one of the yacht club employees entered the cocktail area hour and rang the dinner bell (literally…he had a bell!). It was time for our guests to take a seat and for the reception to begin!

Previously…

The girls got ready, then the guys got ready.

I became a bride, but our first look wasn’t what I’d hoped.

We took some photos alone and then with our bridal party.

Everyone hopped on the trolley and we took some family portraits before my cake arrived.

I gathered myself before the ceremony, our bridal party made their way down the aisle, and I followed afterward.

Our ceremony began with some readings and ended with a handfasting ceremony.

My ‘maids helped me adjust my bustle and we entered the cocktail hour.

We had fun in the photo booth.
